The Division of Physical Sciences serves to connect alumni, students, and friends of the University of California, San Diego with each other and the campus community through activities and programs that stimulate interest, loyalty and support.

After graduating top-notch chemists, mathematicians and physicists the Division of Physical Sciences has alumni working in all states and in many countries throughout the world.

We have provided a list of alumni resources and items of interest that are happening in the departments, including new programs, new faculty and new areas of research, graduate and undergraduate programs and awards, and other news of interest to our friends and alumni who have not been in San Diego for awhile.

We encourage all our alumni to let us know what they are doing and to offer their suggestions for our future plans. The Faculty of the Departments of Math, Chemistry and Physics are seeking to re-establish contact with all of their graduates. Maintaining a life-long link with graduates and fostering an active, informed and satisfied alumni body is a major objective of the the Division and UCSD.
