Use of Auditorium Guidelines
- An index number is required at the time the reservation is made, along with contact information for one individual responsible for the reservation. The index number will only be charged if there are violations to the meeting space guidelines. This individual is responsible for ensuring all guidelines are followed and will be contacted directly when there are violations, problems or complaints.
- Food and beverages are not allowed in the auditorium.
- The default room configuration is classroom style. Please return the room to this configuration. Failure to do so will result in a facilities’ charge, estimated at $50. Charges will also result from equipment losses or room damages.
- Tables and linens must be requested through your department. Once event is finished, break down tables and move to the side for pick-up.
- Dispose of any left-over catering and beverage trash, etc. Please dispose of any trash in the dumpster outside the NSB (south of building). If trash is not disposed, a housekeeping fee may apply.
- Technical support of AV equipment must be provided by user’s home department. When reserving space, allow for advance prep time. Any general questions regarding the room, contact oec@ucsd.edu. For any hardware related issues, please contact ITS at servicedesk@ucsd.edu.
- The auditorium is not intended to accommodate on-going formal, instructional coursework.
- Grilling on the terrace is NOT allowed due to fire hazards. During weekend/after-hours, users may NOT prop open building doors; they will be granted an access code upon approval of room use request. Violations of the guidelines above may result in loss of future use privileges and/or charges.
