School of Physical Sciences Staff EDI-C Committee
Welcome to the School of Physical Sciences Staff Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Climate (EDI-C) Committee webpage.
Mission Statement
The primary focus of this Staff Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Climate (EDI-C) committee is to connect School of Physical Sciences staff with EDI resources and to encourage staff to engage with, discuss, and resolve issues relating to EDI-C within the school.
UC San Diego's Office of the Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) strives to create a campus climate of respect, fairness and cooperation, promoting innovation and leadership by engaging the talents and abilities of all. We believe that true excellence is achieved through productive relationships among people of diverse perspectives, as defined by UC San Diego’s Principles of Community.
The School of Physical Sciences EDI-C Committee supports campus-wide EDI initiatives and objectives through its own work within the school.
